Red wine is the only alcoholic beverage tasty enough for me to drink it outside of social situations. Hungarian/Moldovan/Bulgarian wines often have the best price/quality ratio, so I tend to go for these.
I also like perry and cider, which are my drinks of choice when meeting with friends.
