If AI replaces 90% of jobs I at least have a chance at getting some kind of UBI instead of being perpetually homeless.

UBI is never happening, it's complete nonsense. Even if it did it would quickly turn out a disaster:

UBI is complete nonsense. The US Dollar has lost 98% of its value since 1900 because of inflation, and it continues to go down around 3% in value each year. UBI would merely serve to exacerbate that, since governments would likely end up printing new money for people rather than redistribute wealth in the country. Even if they used a tax-method to redistribute wealth for UBI the inflation problem would still be there, so it is only a band-aid solution at best. The only way of avoiding inflation is to have a proper currency that governments cannot mess with like Bitcoin, or going back to a currency based on something like gold. If people could actually have savings then we would not need UBI.

That's a feature, not a bug. The economy is always going to experience crashes, they are necessary to correct the market. I'd say it's better to let them happen naturally than for them to be artificial like they are today. Also, while I think going back to gold-based currencies would be good, switching to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin would be even better. Without the human error element crashes like the Great Depression would happen far more seldomly.

i think no work at all is a bit unrealistic in our life time. a small amount of work to make sure everything‘s fine is needed in my estimation, like let’s say <10h work per week, on average.
