Today, my friend and I went to watch a movie. While passing by the park, there were about six dogs playing and chasing each other. I didn't know where their owners were. And some dogs would bite each other and bark loudly, which was very frightening
When my friend went to the convenience store to buy some drinks, I and another friend were sitting on a bench waiting for him. While we were chatting, a golden retriever suddenly emerged from the bushes behind me. Its paws landed on my thigh and it kept sniffing me. I was terrified. I was afraid it would bite me. Finally, my friend held an umbrella to help drive it away. It ran towards its owner, a couple on a walk. That pair of idiots even didn't forget to glance at me for a moment.

I don't understand why they didn't tie a leash to the dog. The person who keeps birds will keep them in cages to prevent them from flying away. And it's almost always the biggest meathead thug stereotypes with huge ass dogs they barely have any control over just letting them walk around since they know that if something happens, their dogs are going to do the maiming instead of being maimed, and they don't give a fuck about anyone else.

Last year, I had an aggressive dog owned by just such a retard lounge at me when I was walking our maltese and those two retards appeared from behind a corner of one of the buildings in the neighbourhood. If I hadn't quickly put him on my shoulder he would've probably died there, and if I didn't have a thick jacket I probably would've gotten scratched up pretty badly from that dog jumping at me and trying to get to him while I just ignored him and walked away. I looked at them when I was across the street, the human retard was trying to assert dominance or something over the dog one, screaming at him wtf is he doing and so on, and the dog absolutely didn't give a shit about him. Then the dude walked away, and the dog didn't even move for like ten seconds and just watched him, and then when he actually moved started he didn't even follow him, just running to a different street, pretty much treating his retarded owner not like any authority he should obey, but just like some moving flag he should keep in his sight, but doesn't have to be nearby.

I absolutely wouldn't be surprised if someone in this neighbourhood, probably a child, got maimed by an unleashed dog eventually.

I don't hate dogs either, at all really, and I would actually agree with the common assertion that small dogs might be more aggressive than larger ones, because nobody bothers to discipline them. However, and this might be just cultural difference or something like that, there definitely is a small subset of people (often fitting a common stereotype, low-class, probably a criminal history or a junkie, etc.) who seem to be genuinely powertripping by having large and aggressive dogs they barely have any control over and whom they are always only very reluctantly and not often putting leashes on, who are making walking your own dog an uncomfortable chore.
