Yes light skin is law here. I spent the first 16 years of my life darker skinned than the pakis around me and it was torture, I got shit from everyone including my own family.

There’s even instances where a guy could be from a respectable, rich family and average looking but if he’s too dark the family will deny the marriage request. Which is dumb to me cuz bones>color but this backwards inferiority complex hasn’t left them
