St.Cho had the double tap perk lol. im glad he was wise to be brutal, maximizing his KDR using just two pistols one of which a weak 22LR. He is still the top school gamer. As per his manifesto, he stood up for the defenceless and weak.
I would say cho wasn't barbaric. He was simply employing 'barbaric' methods to fight savages. Savages who only understand the language of force. Savages who are apathy to sufferings around them.
This almost feels like an odd thing to say because it was a mass shooting, so of course it was barbaric. But I didn’t actually realise the horrors of what happened inside that day. Cho’s first victim was Emily Hilscher (to this day, no one really knows why) but he murdered her and the RA in her building at approximately 7.15am, which was HOURS before the other victims. That in itself is insane to me. The minute 2 people were shot and killed on campus, there should have been an immediate lockdown, yet there wasn’t. Police arrived at that scene within 10 minutes, so there’s really no excuse for the decision to not lockdown. Instead, they immediately focused on Emily’s boyfriend as the person responsible because he’d dropped her off that morning, and had been described as an ‘avid gun user.’ That was a fatal and catastrophic mistake. Cho eventually started his massacre in Norris Hall around 9.40am. What makes this specific event so callous and eerie to me is how personal it was. Most mass shooters tend to fire rapidly and don’t really spend enough time there to make it personal. A lot of the time, they don’t even know who they’re shooting because they’re not close enough to see. But with Cho, it was the complete opposite. According to survivors, he would initially shoot into classrooms from the hallway, then when he finally made entry, he would calmly walk up and down the aisles with 2 guns, shooting people indiscriminately at point blank range. EVEN THOSE THAT WERE CLEARLY UNRESPONSIVE. He would then leave and go to a different classroom to do the exact same thing. That’s not the end though. After going into most classrooms atleast once, he turned around and went back for a second time. Just think about it for a minute. If you were lucky enough to survive the first round of shots by playing dead, you may think by the grace of god you’ve somehow made it, just for him to come back a few minutes later and execute you the second time round. And that really happened… If you were lucky enough to survive the first round of shots, that was not the end. Some of the victims survived the first time, just to be executed by him few minutes later, that’s a fact I’m finding hard to comprehend. Some of the victims probably thought that playing dead had worked; when in reality, it hadn’t, he was on his way back. It’s almost like he gave them a false sense of security. Even more chilling is the fact that they were only on the second floor. They would have survived jumping out of the window, but at the time, playing dead probably seemed like the better option, ESPECIALLY if they believed they already got away with it the first time It’s just so unbelievably callous. I know this is long, but I just finished reading the comprehensive report and I’m stunned by the details. Virginia Tech is one of the worst massacres in US history, yet there’s so many people that don’t even know it happened… Why do you think that is? Edit: Does anyone know why he killed Emily first, hours before? I haven’t ever seen a clear answer. Or if you don’t know, have you speculated what the reason could have been?
