I'm an early zoomer so unlike most of my generation Minecraft wasn't a part of my childhood, I first played it when I was 12 in middle school on a very early version (1.2 I think) that didn't even have the menu separated by category kek, every item was in the same list. I remember only playing creative mode and in the flat world because otherwise my shitty school laptop didn't get more than 20FPS and it was unplayable, and still with everything at minimum and flat world if I got +30FPS it was a miracle but still I liked that game. I even put some mods in it because I had a friend that was really into Minecraft and Minecraft youtubers so he taught me a lot about mods, redstone and all that sheit.
I felt I wanted to try it again so I downloaded a pirate launcher, this time I will try the survival mode in the normal world because now my PC can handle the game in high settings without problems. If I find the survival boring I'll go back to creative and just build random sheit just like in the old times
