I might delete my account and come back next year under a new name

I know this is against the rules, but only when it's done immediately like me deleting this account now and creating another one tomorrow.

What I have in mind though is taking a break from the forum (even if I'm new to it lol) and only coming back next year under a new name for two reasons:

1. I'm no longer comfortable sharing the fact that I'm Californian. Go figure;

2. Some of the threads here are just too brutal for me to handle. I need time to digest this stuff.

Some people have had their names changed without the symbol. I think you can do it using the account upgrade (costs $5), though I'm not certain.
