I bombed an interview but wrote a nice email afterwards which helped me get to the next round. But in my response back to set up the next interview time after this life chance, I made a noticeable typo which I noticed after sending and it reflects really poorly for this lack of attention to detail in my industry. Really want to blow my brains out when I can't even do simple things right.

I don't know, a single typo that may lead to a single lost job opportunity doesn't seem like much of a reason to off yourself. If it does fall through just make sure you don't make the same mistake next time. I'm well acquainted with making small clumsy mistakes constantly that lead to me looking like an idiot. It sucks. Don't let it get to you so much when there's no reason for that, just acknowledge your error and move on.
