I mean if that is even CLOSE to what the person said then... that's so funny to me. What a delusional, crazy thing to say!

Xlibre is new, quite popular software project for Linux, run by a guy who seems to be conservative.

And Debian is a major distribution of Linux. And Linux is the core of an operating system. And an operating system is a system that allows you to operate your computer. And a computer is... OK I'll leave it there!
