I simply had to study quite a bit about it and know the actual statistics and limitations behind therapy, as well as the commonly held but false beliefs, stereotypes, and stigmas. You don't see me pushing people to therapy en masse, because I know that therapy doesn't fix face, height, or undo years of social ostracizing on its own. However, it does have its merits in other ways and thus I am being an objective proponent of it when it is relevant. You have your own beliefs on the matter, and if you want to discuss the merit of my beliefs vs. yours, we can do that. It could be mutually beneficial.
