Yes. I spent most of the game playing alone and never had any teammates that I knew outside of DayZ. Only times I had teammates were when I met them in the game and ran with them.

I was just calm when it happened and my heart was racing when i was falling trough the world floor but after it all was over the anger came and i just punched myself in the eye
And started a new run 5min after

Dayz is fun but I can't bring myself to have long runs because I would get so pissed dying in a stupid way if I had a ton of loot. Now I just do short runs, try to make friends with a freshie dude until we get killed.
Yeah no point in having a 55h run like me when i didn’t even have a base or stash or any ”checkpoint” like that which was a huge mistake. In future i will make a stash everytime ive survived 20h. The freshies always run away when i try talking to them, ive only made dayz friends trough discord, in game they always run away in fear or just mag me the second i open my mic
And the run was on official which makes me 10x more pissed than dying on some community server. I had LAR, DMR kit and shiet and didn’t even die to player
