Just world hypothesis is a mainstream, blue pill cope that, I'd strongly argue, is in fact necessary. The cope helps maintain order in society (yes, yes, that same one that shits all over us and we'd rather see eat itself inside out). It's that blue pilled cope that drives people to do things and get shit done.
If society woke up tomorrow and got black pilled about this, it'd be eventual chaos. Things would quickly stagnate, then start going south. Small businesses as a "thing" would probably cease to exist, as most people will see that the idea of becoming an entrepreneur, in addition to being just like another lottery, is simply society's program to drive technological and industrial innovation. The program that pushes this dream throws millions through the meat grinder so that something useful, and possibly game changing, emerges. Think of this as a kind of evolutionary process for societies, even though it's most likely just state propaganda to influence the culture and people's way of thinking.
Systems, abstractly speaking, generally have a lot of inefficiencies that leak out, which reduce with evolving iterations, but they eventually succeed in completing whatever the task is. The system like society's rat race also has these inefficient leaks in the form of an overwhelming ratio of losers:winners. However, the winners do emerge, and we see them in the form of billionaire tech moguls and other public business figures.
In a lot of these systems you need to have a LOT of losers for every winner. Everything in life is just some kind of extremely low probability lottery. For example, you need to have a lot of genetic trash before the almost-perfect combination of DNA is naturally sequenced to give us some high IQ, athletic gigachad/gigastacy. Another, more cosmic, example is our planet. It literally took billions of years and an insanely higher number of planets and solar systems forming to get the planet with the golden conditions for life and consciousness to eventually form.
This is just a simple fact of existence, not just conscious existence. It's the way things are in reality.
tl;dr: Everything is one big lottery.
