I used to play with them as a kid. They fought for me when no one else was. They were here for me when everyone else abandoned me. But alas, their time has come.... just like my time will come.
Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under my roof:
I saw the tears of the toys-
and they have no one to play with them;
power was on the side of those who wanted to throw them away-
and they have no one to play with them.
And I declared that those thrown away,
who had already been thrown away,
are happier than the living,
who are still getting played with.
But better than both
are the toys which have never been made,
Which have not seen the evil
that is done under my roof.
I am sorry my friends, You've fought more valiantly than I'll ever be able. Thank You for Your service.
