I met a Ukrainian kid back in 2016 when I was playing League of Legends. We became friends in game and played duo-queue for the remaining of the season. He always complained about how unstable and unsafe Ukraine was and he consistently expressed his wish for his parents to leave the country. Now that he's in his mid-20s, I wonder if he's still alive there.
