lol, was pretty weird!

I own a house that is being tenanted as a houseshare by a letting agent, here in the UK.

And I popped in there just now at about midnight to do a quick check of the place for insurance reasons, as I do every week.

And the boiler was running. And I felt like there was some light in the house. I half expected a new tenant that I hadn't been told about to walk out in a dressing gown or something and see me there wandering around "their" house at midnight!

That would have taken some explaining!

But no. I don't think it's tenanted just yet but very soon. So I've gotta stop going in there randomly late at night XD

There's no point owning a house tbh. Renting it out usually only covers the mortgage payment but not much more than that. It's not a lot of profit, compared to the startup cost.

lol there aren't any tenants in there yet ^_^

And once the first tenant moves in soon I will switch the insurance from unoccupied to landlord's, so I won't need to do any more weekly checks.

So no don't worry I have no plans to randomly go in in the middle of the night while people are living there!
