I suddenly felt something unusual in my body like my breathing became difficult, like I had to control it manually instead of it happening automatically, probably because of a heaviness in my chest. My vision started to blur, like there was smoke around me, and most of all my throat became dry while I had a bitter taste in my mouth. I was sure it was a chemical. I immediately told my mother and we went to the hospital at dawn.
While we were on the way, I felt a kind of euphoria like if this was death, I was ready to accept it. But I survived. However, I had a brutal experience at the hospital. They had to draw my blood twice, and it was done by a stacy nurse. That’s when I realized that a beautiful woman was holding my hand not because she was interested in me, but because she was simply doing her job.
