Sure you get to fight the fish in its native habitat with a piece of metal and a string. Then you get to transport it still alive to your house (you don't kill it after you got it out of water because the taste will get imoacted) and then you have the opportunity to cut off its head while it is still wiggling in your hands.
After all of that fun you get to enjoy some nice freid fish. There nothing greater in the world than fishing.
