I didn't either, they pulled out my tooth which felt like thousands of knives being repeatedly stabbed into my gum and I felt it release, jolting when I heard the cracks. Then an intense sting afterwards, wouldn't recommend.

You should get some prescription fluoride toothpaste like my dentist recommended to me. 
I barely use it but I think that because I sometimes do and let it sit in my mouth for several minutes as you’re supposed to in order to make it work that it’s possibly responsible for my total lack of any new cavities the past two years.

The idea being that in theory if you just brush/clean your teeth really good at least once a week and glop this stuff on and let it sit in your mouth before rinsing it will remineralize your teeth healing and stopping any new cavities before they can really get out of control.
