I don’t understand it. Surely with that amount of money they can move to the west and live in way better conditions. Whats stopping them?
Maybe they get lucky with a business and exploit the people below them or family in the west provide. My family in Pakistan only survive cuz of my dad. My parents been fighting about it all their lives yet my dad still sends more than half his wage there despite them only seeing him as merely a wallet
We have it a lot better in the UK. South Asia might be alright for a holiday but it’s not somewhere you wanna live. I don’t know your situation but if you find a proper GP when your back who’ll take your mental health diagnosis serious you can get decent benefits. Apply for LCWRA, that’s an extra £416 a month. Apply for PiP, say you only get the basic rate that’s another £290 a month. For rent you could get housing benefits etc. There’s a reason these people die to come here
