Pretty much every Winter I start getting severe eczema around my eyes and there is basically no treatment. Its because everyone starts heating and the air inside is hot and dry and outside its cold and dry.

Cremes make it usually even worse. Not only does it look unpleasant it hurts.

If that’s how your eye area looks nigger you’ve got an infection like pink eye not eczema.

I myself have bad eczema around my eyes because the medication I’m on has brought it back from my teenage years (when it had seemingly gone away in my early twenties) and it’s just very dry peeling flaky skin that on certain areas and or people can be itchy to varying degrees (but it’s mostly not itchy on me but can be occasionally but mostly on the spot under my arm).

Anyway I digress.

Your example picture actually looks like a bad pink eye infection + dermatitis not eczema.

And there are many treatments for eczema but according to my dermatologist foid whom I’ve just seen a couple of weeks ago the steroid cream I’ve been on is the first line of defense before they try more potentially harmful treatments on patients such as pills and such.

Anyway what I use to keep mine at bay or at least the stuff around my eyes is Triamcinolone ointment which basically keeps your eye area or anywhere it’s placed moisturized all day long whereas the cream is better for other areas because it dries very quickly.

She also recommended I start using facial moisturizer such as Cerave cream or my general go to brand Aveeno if I prefer.

have you even gone to a doctor about it?

Interestingly I have the exact same problem, eczema around my eye area. I use hydrocortizone cream. Technically not supposed to as it can (supposedly) eventually lead to glaucoma, but it does work and it's very effective. Also a lot cheaper than the prescription stuff from the Optometrist that was $330 for this tiny little tube lol
