Do you think it's true that there's more mental illness among mixed people? Are you mentally ill? What's your relationship with your family like? Have you experienced racism? And how have you been treated by the people of your two different races?
Im not mixed race. But all of my answers are no.
Definitely more mental illness among mixed people. I got incredibly lucky and don’t have any of those illnesses myself (100% NT). My relationship with my parents was horrible, they were abusive, neglectful, gaslighted and lied to me about many things
I’ve experienced a lot of racism especially growing up in a place where the majority were white. Excluded, bullied, called all kinds of insults, a perpetual feeling of being alienated, all because I looked different, looked ugly, compared to everyone else. Asian side wasn’t any better, they treated me coldly, ignored me, pretended I wasn’t even there despite my efforts to reach out to them
