How the fuck does my gym expect me to do heavy ass deadlifts and squats when I have to put up with this low testosterone shit?
Seriously. Why do I have do constantly have to be reminded that I am a 20 yr old forever alone loser? Music in a gym is meant to pump you up so you can perform well. How do they expect me to perform well if i'm hearing "we were just kids when we fell in love"?? it's the kind of music girls would listen to to try and sleep.

Saving grace is that Ed would be a truecel without his status and ability to sing.

yeah. sometimes if there is a reason why i cant listen to my own music, like if i run out of internet like today, i have to listen to the gym's crap. even with earplugs i can hear it in the background.

I always thought nobody other than me even knows Tool.
yayy I don't really listen to a lot of metal either, I just discovered them through the psychedelic community

Infected Mushroom has some good metal-trance hybrid like music too. Really awesome duo from Israel.
I never really work out because I'm a lazy ass but if I did I'd probably do it listening to breakcore or drill 'n' bass stuff like Squarepusher and Venetian Snares. I'd get the weirdest looks

LOL. I have been listening to Tool for over 20 years now. But that you discovered them through the psychedelic community doesn't surprise me at all. Sometimes I get really drunk to a point where I can not think clearly and then I watch Tool videos. Tool videos go so well with drugs and alcohol it is unbelievable. After blowing my brains out and watching Tool videos I feel like I have been abducted by Aliens and raped on Mars - but in a good way - for weeks. :D
Like if you watch this after half a bottle of scotch you will know what I mean :D :D :D:

LOL yeah their videos are out of this world. Like from other dimension

the gym plays ads in between songs. it is incredibly annoying.

this is why capitalism should be illegal.
Tool's videos are great but their music has declined in quality over the years so I'm not too chuffed over the new album....whenever the fuck that comes out. besides if I wanted something progressive, I'd just put on early-mid King Crimson or Univers Zero.

most of my tastes consists of ear rape like NSBM, goregrind, gorenoise, noisecore, gabber, EBM, speedcore, extratone, hc punk, powerviolence, grindcore, power electronics, martial industrial, doom metal (mostly trad and funeral) heavy/power metal, weird krautrock/zeuhl/rio shit, neofolk, brutal death metal and harsh noise/experimental in general, although I like other things.

haha i used to be into stuff like gabber/speedcore (anything ending in 'core') when i played rhythm games. now i tend to listen to techno/electronic music

most of what I like is noise, pure fucking ear-wax sandblaster noise

Then buy headphones.

Everything with Ed Sheeran is boring, I really don´t see the appeal in any of his songs.
