Ffs i used to have the same feelings around 18-20 when listening to this song or seeing the vid. Like a bittersweet but heart wrenching melancholy... i was grieving my shitty adolescence, not even realizing that i was flushing my 20's down the shitter as well. 
Now at 31 i dont care that much, i'm like it is what it is, i dont see my life as less valuable than any other just cause the graces of youth were distant to me. I feel like i experienced them at an ontological level, ie feeling the same lightheartedness, and sentiments of immortality, despite sitting at home or doing some shitty wage job.
