Yeah, bodyweight exercises are better especially for kids since they like to climb and hang from stuff. Calisthetics mogs weightlifting but the gymfags won't admit it because they are too fat to do pull ups.
You can usually tell who puts a lot more emphasis on calisthetics than weights.
