The law system allows non lethal abuse but punishes lethal retaliation.
I know it may sound a good idea but think about it, it's a system rigged against the weakest.
Throwing hands is ok, because the strongest is going to win.
But if i pull a knife out and stab the bully i am the bad guy and i need to rot in prison.
If you bully someone it's ok but if you sell some weed zogbots gets angry.
So i would be ok with the following scenario:

Total jungle, people are allowed to harrass me but i am allowed to defend myself as i like, even with a knife or a gun.

It's ridiculous if you think about it. They have the ability to put you in a cage for the rest of your life or straight up shoot youif you don't follow their non-existant rules that they don't follow themselves.
