Like why can't they keep it as is? Especially when it's one of those older contemporary homes from the 80s, it pisses me off even more because I've always wanted one that's been untouched and hasn't been remodeled. By the time I could afford one, if I'm ever able to, all the normies are gonna have them "modernized," and the few untouched ones are gonna be worth seven figures. I mean, I could understand putting new electrical/HVAC systems throughout it, but touching up the exterior or interior to make it have a completely new design is absolutely disgusting.

Modern contemporary looks DISGUSTING imo, if done right 80s contemporary can look godly. The pic I used isn't the best example, but it still looks nice imo.

Agreed. The old homes had character and taste. The new ones are soulless and lacking taste, not unlike the normies themselves. Also, as an incel with a low paying job, I'd be uncomfortable living in a contemporary home. Especially since I'd be messy as fuck.
