There's no how are you neighbor, there's no helping anyone, your more likely to see a phone shoved in your face in your dying moments then someone trying to help you, everyone is so bitter and distrustful, so much "mind your own business" and "fuck you I got mine" attitudes that are destroying what little communities we have left. Society is turning everyone outside of the really attractive into hermits.

I think it depends on where you are tbh. I live in a semi rural area and your neighbors are much more likely to talk with you/interact with you. that being said I agree that this is a dying trait which is a shame.

in the past you generally knew the people around you much more though, making you more likely to help others around you. Generally people knew pretty much everyone in their village and small area, making them at least somewhat more empathetic towards eachother.

We're all paying so much to our governments and we could be paying that to each other.

I didn't say I was a libertarian but I respect libertarians right to be left alone tbh
But they are weak on corporate surveillance because it's all "well it's not the government doing it sooo..."

And the alt-right were absolutely obnoxious in 2016 talking about how libertarianism is obsolete and a meme. The media seized on that to talk about a libertarian to alt-right pipeline just like a supposed MRA to alt-right pipeline.
And of course they always focused on white males and muh white anger in these stories about libertarians and MRAs.

And then there are reddit tier dumbasses that just hate on libertarianism because it is cool to do that when from 2008-2012 reddit largely supported libertarian Ron Paul.

Most of these "libertarian" to alt-right converts really just didn't like government affirmative action and foreign aid to countries like Israel. Otherwise they're all for militarized police, borders and spying on and internment camps for dissidents while concern trolling about free speech just long enough to seize power and end free speech and expression under the guise of "combatting degeneracy".

Just like all these cultural "Christians" that talk about spreading the good word but call turning the other cheek, forgiveness and exercising restraint in anger and violence weak, unmanly and beta.
