I hate how we fucking have to depend on these to get literally anywhere, there's no walking down the street to get beers & snacks, can't get on a train or bus to go somewhere if you're fucking car is broken if you'd rather save gas- this isn't even fucking accounting for the fact of the matter that it's a massive financial sink.

insurance here are fucking crooks, not to mention others expenditures such as gas, repairs, or when it fucks-up like mine did just recently. I swear, driving here takes a mental toll on me due to how awful most drivers are & how much of a clusterfuck most cities are nowadays.

I've never had much of an interest in cars, they were just always "meh" to me

American society perhaps literally judges you and your condition as a man on whether you can afford the upkeep of a vehicle and it's purchase or not, good luck going anywhere in life in such a society, people would just not see you as someone trustworthy or capable of anything if you're not a vehicle owner, women would not give you dates. That's how humans are. Plus the distances can be a lot more, so it's not unusual to use a car, sometimes it'd be hours before you see another human settlement.

One perk of living in the greater Seoul area is that everything is nearby, even decent transportation. Commuting to work as a wagie is hell though.

As soon as people won't be able to purchase and maintain their cars, the USA is done. The whole nation is artificially built around highways and car centric lifestyle. You can't survive without a car aside from several large cities. All of that will crumble when cars are not attainable for a lot of people
