I hear that. For me my dad was honestly the best parent ever but my mom destroyed ever single last good thing he gave me. My mom was just very narcissistic, irrational and liked to make us all miserable. If I really wanted to I guess that I could institutionalize her, she is a mental case, she's got more emotional issues than me. She beat, bad mouthed me to acquaintances to shame me, she verbally abused me to the last day. She also gets mentally confused very quickly and can't controll her emotions in those circumstances. She's also delusional in many many ways. If a charismatic person were to convince her of something then she'd believe all of it.

What did your dad do to you? Just beat you?
