Apart from being a severe nerf irl social wise, being a voicecel also sucks since it also affects my own means of escape from society like video games. Using voice chat immediately makes you hated by other players instantly on any online game. For example, I was playing SCP secret laboratory (soy game ik) and people with mogger voice are way better at making conversation, meanwhile people with manlet voices such as mine often just get ignored. Another example is when i was playing CS2 and ive been votekicked several times because people think im a foid based on my voice. Dont even get me started IRL, I am ND 5'7 and also cursed with shit voice and people treat me like a little kid despite being an adult with a decent frame/physique. I think the kid treatment is caused by all those factors conjoining together to rape me. its over

People used to always say 'what?' to me, and I'd put sincere effort into increasing my vocal volume, but never seemed to gain much progress, and inevitably gave up. Nowadays I rarely get a 'what?' even though I don't try and even when I feel like my voice comes out weakly, which is about 50% of the time. I guess my volume just naturally increased? I don't know.
