I hadn't watched a Marvel movie in years, probably the latest I watched was Captain Marvel in 2019 which luckily I didn't pay to watch in the cinema. So yesterday for life circumstances I had to watch Dr Strange 2 and it was really bad bruh. I remember enjoying the first one in 2016 but the second part just sucked except for the CGI.
The plot is a mess and I didn't understand half of it, apparently you must have watched a Marvel show (Wandavision) and some of the previous MCU movies to understand why the characters behave that way or the backstory
Also the cringe Marvel humor or the SJW stuff like the buddy of the main character being a Latinx empowered foid with two moms... How far Marvel has fallen it's incredible.
Part of me finds this altogether very sad because before I used to love Marvel and Star Wars, but now I associate it with Soyjak nostalgia grab clonic movies. DC movies aren't that good either but at least there's the animated universe to save the situation.
