Venting I had to educate boomers on facial science

Believe some of you had read my old thread few days ago where my relatives had commented on my sunking cheeks.

I was on a dinner buffet with mom and her friends. It was free to eat stuff. Pretty awesome.

Moms friends commented on me. "Wow your son is tall and handsome" (a typical saying here) but they always point out that my face is skinny and I need to eat more JFL.

I asked her like wtf, she said that skinny face looks old, malnutrition, not beautiful.

I pulled out my phone and googled some pictures of asian MM (I live in Asia so) and ome ricecels.

I asked her, who is more attractive, this or that. She said the first one (ofc) and when I asked her why, she said "Well those popstars apply makeups and do facial surgery" I said "no, many of them have hollow cheeks because they are lean".

She said "the fashion industry is really pushing youngsters to be skinny. It's not healthy"

I said "Well lean people looks better because it shows that they are fit"

She said "Fat people looks good facially, but bad body. Skinny people looks good bodily, but bad face. Everyone has their standards of beauty."

WTF This is the dumbest shit I've heard. I lost 50 IQ from that alone.

Technically that's true, but in practice it's bullshit. It's very clear by looking at models and celebrities what the ideal archetype is for aesthetic appeal. There's not a ton of variation.

There's not "someone out there for everyone." There's infinite girls out there for Chad, but U @uninstall can't score after approaching 1,000+ women. Everyone essentially wants the same sexual partner, but only girls and Chad have the privilege of realizing that desire.
