It was about my oneitis from high school (we’ll call her Sarah) , the dream, like all dreams, felt like it went on over a period of time. Over the course of a few weeks in the dream I’ve drawn closer to Sarah, we talked, we hung out after class, we even started to go to the gym together when she found out I really liked it.
Irl, Sarah never talked to me, I approached her in freshman year and she gave me a nasty look in return and ignored me for the rest of my time in high school, she just used me for homework answer’s and quizzes in 9th grade (which I would reluctantly give her for any morsel of attention). So in the dream this bond with her felt amazing, we were having conversations, she would smile at me, I could hear her voice like it was real and she was actually talking to me. She would ask me questions, she actually cared about me. Later in the dream, I found out she was going to the same college as me, which was huge lifefuel because it meant we could continue our relationship.
However, the dream was wrapping up and I finally woke up. For about 4 or 5 seconds I actually thought it was all real. I sat up in bed smiling knowing she was going to my college, that a girl is actually interested in me. Then the realization set in, it was all fake. I tried to convince myself it wasn’t, I cycled through my dream and all the events and realized none of it was real. I tired to go back to sleep to continue the dream, maybe pick back up where it left off, but to no avail. I got out of bed almost mad that none of it was real, because it felt so fucking real in the dream, I’m sure you guys understand.
I need to learn lucid dreaming…
