I didn't want to take a lot of time at home depot cuz I was under pressure, and I forgot on of the requirements of one of the types of items that I bought 16 of. Came out to $370 lol.
We have the receipts and everything so we can return them and I volunteered to go to immediately return them but the president said no jfl fml. What an embarrassment.

I had another fuck up at work.
We needed to install a 1080 gtx in a new $4K+ workstation. Note that installing hardware isn't my job but obviously I know how to install graphics cards, done it hundreds of time. The main boss was watching me. As I was installing the card though it got stuck. I think it was where the little pcie clip is and the edge of the pcb got stuck in there weird.
I could tell he just thought I was a complete moron. Usually when something like this happens I just gently rock the graphics card free. He thought I was being forceful and said "Just stop don't touch anything" and variations of that while I was taking a look. I know I could have freed it if he would have let me but I did as he said. He asked me to get a mobo schematic and when I came back he had settled the card into the slot.

My major fuck up was speaking out at the induction one week into my last job that I was concerned that my boss and colleague were leaving at the end of that month and so there'd only be one other person to teach me the facilities job and she was the front desk receptionist, who was on holiday. This was obviously the wrong thing to say, as I was let go at the end of that day, having aced the interview on my previous birthday. Fucking staggering and harsh as fuck, but it got me out of a bad situation.
