You need experience to clean dishes and wait tables goy. I have a legion of 100 more desperate goy slaves at my disposal who want this job more than you so you better dance goy and I better not hear any complaining.

This is what every job has been reduced to in America, not just manual labor jobs. That’s why there’s no point in contributing and working today. There is no chance to get ahead you will just be replaced and your life uprooted the second something goes wrong at your job.

If this is an hourly position then it's time and a half (assuming you're American)...so I can kinda understand it if you need the money.

But if it's a salaried position, that's straight up voluntary slavery on her part that she's enforcing on everyone else and if I were in your position I would be resentful as fuck and hate that coworker with every fiber of my being.

nah i don’t live in america and we don’t get paid overtime unless one hour passes. In greece minimum wage is 5.5€ an hour (which is not enough to live by). So if we sit 20 minutes overtime, we don’t get paid one extra cent, for it to count as overtime a whole hour needs to pass. And yes she’s pretty much hated by the other coworkers. They complain that instead of helping to clean up the store she’s doing other dumbass shit. If i’m not getting paid, i’m not sitting one single second overtime. One time she called me out in front of the other coworkers for always leaving on time. “ITS RUDE TO LEAVE WHILE THE REST OF US ARE STILL HERE!!” ITS RUDE TO FORCE ME TO STAY OVERTIME BECAUSE YOURE A DUMB BRAINWASHED SLAVE. I didn’t say that i just ignored her and left but her purpose was clearly to embarrass me. It’s hard to embarrass me because i genuinely don’t care about my coworkers opinions, im there for the money. But i honestly wouldn’t care sitting an extra 20 minutes if i was getting paid for it, it would stack up and it would be almost an entire extra days of pay.

These days they don't even hire people full time at my job. Everyone starts part time and after 6 months or a year they might get the privilege of full time hours, but that doesn't seem to be happening for a lot of people who were hired in the past year, and some are pissed about it. I'm one of the "lucky" ones that "gets to" work full time.

my cheap ass boss does the same thing, he hires bums with no work experience (since they’re the only ones that accept part time) and he promises them full time. What pisses me off is that if they worked full time it would only be an extra 200€ a month??? And he’s a multi millionaire too, it ain’t gonna make a dent in his account. That’s why i never go above and beyond for these cheap ass companies.
