An incel and a Roastie saying the same words.
The context varies, though. In case of the woman, she isn't finding anything interesting anymore: the men in her inbox, the men waiting to match in her tinder, the men who wait for her countenance to fall on them as she ambles the corridors of the mall. Aimlessly dismissing everything and everyone in her sight, she 'feels' no life. She, who had witnessed it all and lived the life. Chad's smirk, his attention on her body, his small talks before the slaying (which she writes in her memory as 'love making'). Sex without commitment, much for the moralist decry, it hit all the chemicals right in her mind. She lived the moment. As the years roll, she's now a connoisseur in sampling men. And thus, the boredom, the lack of any (new) excitement. From here, maybe she can do drugs to get the proportionate highs. They all getting it clinically through all the SSRIs and sleeping pills though.
Whereas in the case of the man, it is his actual 'no life' by any objective measurement of life. There is NIL activity in his spheres of influence - Nobody in the inbox. No phone notifications from the social media (provided, he hasn't uninstalled it all). No invites to any parties. Even if there's one, a low self esteem preventing one from getting dressed up and going there to witness, once again, that he has no life.
2 pole ends of the happiness spectrum.
