Society today is too modeled on those who can represent being of elegance class. Because survival has taken a backseat... then image has taken hold over survival. It's those who can show they're the most removed from the jungle, and have surplus to focus on what is ornate, rather than effective who can win.legit. Good pill on the pre makeup era for women. Imagine a primitive world with no make up.
Plus appearances are far more prominent in most day-to-day life. Ornateness gives a halo of it's own. Even if something like a diamond ring has no utility, it's the glamor behind it that makes it resonate with power.
Back in the day a muddy opal/ stone axe would have been preferable because of survival value. But now, it's the diamond. That's the analogy for the modern world. The less you have what appeals to the surplus/ glamor and grandiosity recepticles of the mind then the less value you are. Being seen as someone who has high blue collar/ hardneck value is kind of good on it's own but overall it shows low value for even needing to prominize that property in the first place.
Glamorarchy is a greater aspect to the Dominarchy today than Utility hierarchy/ Utilitarchy or the Robustarchy.
In the primality format of today's hierarchy of needs by the state of situations.
State of situations affect primal craving, as it will today.
