I got called in to work on both of my days off this week. They really don't want people going over 40 hours so they'll probably have me start coming in later on the rest of the days this week. I can't remember my last day off where I didn't go to work. I'm not scheduled Thusday, and I won't go even if I'm called in because I want to have a break.
It feels like I've been working here for months even though it's probably been less than a month. I have no concrpt of time and my schedule is inconsistent so it's even harder to gauge the time, the weeks blend together.
It's still better than not having a job. My parents were always on me about stuff when I was looking for a job (basically impossible to get one when you're ugly, young, and inexperienced.) I was very fortunate to get this job, and I'm very happy to be away from my parents. Having money's good too. I was able to afford the fix my car. A few years ago my aunt gave me her old car when she got a new one but it's had lots of problems and I'll have to get a new car eventually but for now I just keep getting it fixed. Up until now, my parents and sister had been driving me to work and letting me borrow their cars until I could afford to get mine fixed. I hope it has no more problems until I can get a better car.
