I can get ten kills but one death and still be incredibly pissed off. Dying in PVP is so fucking infuriating because I know the faggot behind the screen took pride in killing me.

Yeah this lol. The other way around is true as well. Killing someone, making them look like trash, is very satisfying as well XD.
Single player games like Minecraft, Pokémon, GTA V, RDR2, etc are all very nice
Games like COD or Apex or Overwatch are frustrating. Just get spawn killed over and over and be on bottom of leaderboard and get sent harassing messages. Like no thanks

sometimes it gets to a point where I don't enjoy games anymore but things are fine when I take a break for awhile.
play soulslikes, they are the only games i enjoy these days. returnal is free on psplus which i picked up a couple days ago, the gameplay loop is amazing and soooo satisfying. the game has only two downsides imo, its heavily dependent on rng and you play as a foid

i used to be the same, i cant lie i started black myth about 6 months ago as a form of self punishment, kept dying to the first boss for like a week straight and when i finally beat him, i felt like i had an orgasm after edging for hours on end. since then i played elden ring, bloodborne and lies of p and really enjoyed them. i raged and screamed a lot but honestly it is worth it as the feeling you get when you slay a boss that you've been trying to kill for hours and you finally get it whilst on low hp. i recommend lies of p as a starter, they added difficulty options recently so you can tone it down if you want
