Yes there is. If you own land, the land will later we worth more (due to more demand for constant supply).
If you want cheap labour in your factory you benefit. If you want more customers for your product you benefit. It's really a short-term sell out of your country, because all those immigrants will also have to live on rent when they are older, and their kids will cost even more money to make to good citizens.
