Bought the 4070 for £500 a few weeks ago now the 5000 series has been announced and the 5070 has the same performance as the 4090 for $550

Wait for 3rd party benchmarks.@starystulejarz @Todd Thundercock any advice?
You reckon a 5070’s gonna be easy to pick up quite soon after it releases or do people normally buy all the stock and resell for extortionate prices? If it’s the former I might just sell the 4070 for like a £50-100 right loss right now and wait for the 5070 tbhWait for 3rd party benchmarks.
I can tell you that 5070 slide showing "4090 performance" is nVidia's usual bullshit mixing in DLSS and cherrypicked settings.
But, yeah, $500 recently for a 4070 is looking like a mistake. I did suggest waiting until CES and the next gen releasing soon.
My early guess now 5070 will end up being ~25% better in raster than 4070, which would put it like 4070 Ti/Ti Super range, and significantly better in Ray Tracing, DLSS, Neural whatever, etc...
I think 5070 Ti or 5080 will be my next GPU. Unless AMD offers a great price, which I'm not expecting. I am excited.
Yeah that’s apparently with DLSS and max frame gen, I thought it was nativeWait for 3rd party benchmarks.

PC hardware releases are never easy to pick up. Like the normie way, you want to buy something, you go to Amazon or some store and just buy it. You'll usually have to spend more doing that. You reckon a 5070’s gonna be easy to pick up quite soon after it releases or do people normally buy all the stock and resell for extortionate prices?
