In the game, you are able to play every character and it's a mixed group. Your actions can save a character's life. I ensured that the female characters would end up dying if given the choice. For instance, of the females is bitten by a creature and you get to decide whether you shoot her or not and I obviously had to. Basically in the end, every character save for one male character was saved. Ended up becoming a survivor. You are able to replay chapters to change the eventual outcome but I am content with where I am at. No female is getting out alive under my watch!

Yes, but he is not a cel. He is a mogger. Also, he dies in the game and it's inevitable. You can avoid every death except for his.
