In many times, long-enders often preach often and loudly about how undeserving the short-enders are of being freed from their plights via humanitarian wholesomeness.
They often say, oh, if I were in your position, I could do better (even though they were never in the position of a short ender).
That from their criteria of deserving pity/ mercy/ help, they fail it (and they will often cite some bullshit reason why so that they don't have to sacrifice their hoard of power/ possessions/ time/ resources), and still remain morally upright.

I legit had a girl tell me she didn't feel bad for me having a dirty house (I was insecure about it) because I didn't dominate my family... as if having a moral heart wasn't a viable constraint for being stuck in the situation.
Kind of showing me that the majority of snooty girls in our world think that there is no good and evil, there are only those who can get what we want, and the faggots who can't.
If you're legit held back they may feel sorry for you. But if there's anything someone can do, then they hate you.

We are hardwired to seek our own own benefit. We are the result of the natural selection of genes that optimized the survival and reproduction of their carriers over millions of generations, and as a complex species we managed to come up with concepts, such as “understanding eachother, making rules, etc..” that in fact were only selected because they benefited the individual by benefiting the group (the group ensuring the survival of the individual ).
Empathy and all of these altruistic emotions tend to be directed on a primal level towards what brings value, be it genetically preprogrammed (thus a neurological pattern selected over generations, which can give “unintended” results, ex: old female redirecting maternal instinct towards pets) or learned (being pro-something makes me look better and/or guarantees me “x”) while themselves relying on the more low-level instinctive neurological patterns. Feeling true empathy, or any “postive” emotion towards nonsuccessful ugly males simply was never selected for females since it doesn’t bring any value ( good compromise between good genes / resources /security). We, like all organic life, are biological machines.

On a primal level empathy and more generally altruistic emotions were coldely selected by natural selection. When it diverges from the norm (for example someone you would feel truly fitting your own definition of just/empathetic) it is because that individual himself diverges from the “norm” and has constructed his higher level of consciousness on different concepts ( i believe because of a mix of different environment + genetics ), but these are what they are, outliers. Natural selection works that way, random outliers appear and are kept if they are fit. True inconditional empathy towards everyone/everything is an illusion or at least very very far from the norm. Most of us incels don’t fit into that category. Like we were “designed” to, we seek some kind of value in things.

In that sense, wanting people to think in a way that would benefit us is no different from “normies” only doing what benefit them, both are egoistic. Would you for instance give money to some random rich person on the other side of the planet ? That doesn’t bring you any value, right ? For females being nice to incels is the same, there is no benefit to that whatsoever. On this planet, everyone is on his own.
Civilization was built as a model that optimizes the fulfilment of the average person’s primal desires, so it is can be considered by extension primal.
We tend to “delude” ourselves by imagining concepts that make us feel better as long as they are not directly detrimental and in apparence not too far off reality (brain needs that dopamine rush, TLDR: ).
