You shouldn't. My 18 months as a neet (living off my father) was one of the worst times of my life. I don't look back on it fondly. All I did was gain 60lbs, play pointless japanese vidya, and rot on imageboards all day (this was 2014-2016).

Even wageslaving is far better than neet, plus having enough money to buy fun stuff is worth it.
