Because my family is from a very traditional farming village in Bangladesh, still not even an industrialized nation, and when I went there, I saw plenty of guys my father’s age or older than 50, saw zero child brides, and most people married around their twenties, my 85 year old grandfather was 30 when he married my 80 year old grandmother.
