Delusion and hope can make you believe anything no matter the age. Those guys don't want to accept that they missed out on a very important part of life and try to rationalize their failures. Most of them just accept it's over though, even if not truly blackpilled.
Some people's coping abilities are insanely strong.
Middle-aged people usually move away from black-and-white (as they consider it) and edgy ideologies and try to look at things more broadly.

I was 30 when I realized on my own that foids rejected me because of my looks. This was around 2010-2011, Long before I came across black pill related content on the internet.
