One day I told him about a post he posted on Instagram. Mind you I don't use social media that much anyway. I told him, "I saw your house." "It's so big" He then deleted the picture the next day and private his account. After that he started treating me differently.

You are expendable to your friend group if you don't fulfill the role they put you in. For example, I was quickly put into the "jester" category and I would attempt to say more and more outlandish/funny things as I got uglier in appearance. This was all in an attempt to stay in good standing with my "friends" and not be seen as some loser in high school.
Eventually, I felt worthless and developed some kind of mental illness so I stopped talking to people. I'm practically a schizoid now with the way I talk to myself everyday about the same issues in my life. Moral of the story is you only have yourself in this world.
