Ive lost 120lbs Pounds, but it was never really possible for me to become really lean

I think it's unrealistic that everyone can have that lean ripped look


some people can cut their calories below 1000 a day but they will still store fat
 
Yes. Body weight set point is incredibly hard to defeat over a prolonged period. Genetics tells us that we more or less will end up looking like our parents in body composition.
 
Its all about genes. Im very skinny. My mother and her family is also very skinny.

Fasting has been very effective in my case but I'm not sure how diseases that make losing weight hard work.

Lmao that’s not how it works.


Everyone can lose weight and become lean. Absolutely everyone. Fat does not come out of thin air, it comes from eating too much food. Fat people who claim the weight isn’t coming off are lying to you about their diet, chances are they’re shovelling chocolate down their gullet when you’re not looking.


Weight loss is literally this fucking simple


Pick a number of calories. Stick to it for two weeks. Check your weight. Did it go down? Good! Keep eating this amount of calories and you’ll keep losing weight. If your weight didn’t go down, decrease the calories some more, and go again for two weeks.


There is no magical fairytale bullshit that prevents you from losing weight. You just need to eat less, and account for your bodies physiological needs.


It’s literally calories in and calories out.

If you’re not losing weight on 1000 calories a day, then eat 850. Keep going down until you start losing weight. You WILL start losing weight at some point. If you’re not losing weight on low calories, it’s because your body is still receiving calories it does not need.



Everyone has a caloric number that is optimal for them to lose weight. This number can go up and down depending on hormonal profile, age, activity level etc and every time you need to ADAPT TO YOUR NUMBER

I think my family are ectomorphs as well but some of them still became fat from grossly excessive eating. They should've avoided that.
 
You lost 120 pounds? I can't even gain two pounds no matter what I do.
