I dislike rachet and clank for the hoverboard mini games and humor. Not because I dislike metroidvanias. Although I do dislike metroidvanias. To me a metroidvania is inherit filler unless it has good puzzles. A lot of metroidvanias feel like they'd be better as linear action games.

I played shit out of gto for example. Doing heists was repetitive but game can be fun co-op when you buy shit and fuck around. Rdo was fun too.

This is the reason Bully 2 will never be made. The media would try to connect it to school shootings. They tried to do that back in 2006, but the social climate is so much worse now. And modern R* aren't really as provocative and ballsy as they used to be. They would never make a game about bullying in 2025. From now until the end of time, their games aren't going to stray far away from socially progressive cowboys and safe edgy criminals.

It is a shame because an incel character would probably fit better in Bully.
