i used to go out with a friend group in high school but stopped going out with them cause i felt so out of place with them. everytime i went out with them they would barely talk to me so i had to always start conversations but it just felt like they invited me to go out with them out of pity. they share no similar interests with me, and the person i was closest with in that friend group (whom ive been friends with since i was 8) has like multiple people closer to him. i want to have a friend but at this point i just dont beleive im interesting enough or cool for anyone to care about me
